Region: Christchurch
Contact person: Winsome Brown Email: christchurch@abc-nz.org.nz Contact: 027 3137875
Meeting information: We are a small but active group that meets at 10am on the 4th Saturday of each month from February to November. Our venue is in the Ferrymead Heritage Park with access via a locked gate. Please text or phone me on 027 3137875 if you need the passcode.
Occasionally we have to change the date. If you are not on the meeting notification list please phone ahead to check that we are meeting on any given 4th Saturday as we would not like you to miss out due to a change. Emails are only ever used for Book Craft group purposes, so do consider being on the list.
We usually complete a short project each month. Occasionally we have a specific workshop from a recognised artist or one of the group shares ideas and inspiration from their own practice. Actually, we are never short on sharing and encouragement as members bring along structures or techniques they have tried or questions that need answering. There is always someone who knows.
Most months there is also an informal sell/giveaway/swap table for equipment and supplies. This is a great way to clear out your stash….and replenish it at the same time.
All this for $5 per meeting ~ there aren’t many opportunities like this around! Visitors and new members with any degree of experience, or none at all, are always welcome.
